Now a little about me: Hi, I’m Casey and I am a new mom who has no filter or shame. I am a military veteran who is now a fulltime mom, fulltime wife, and fulltime employee. The language that I write with isn’t for the sensitive and most of what is posted is personal experiences, with a dash of insight. I hope that these posts give you a little perspective that you aren’t the only person winging this thing called parenting.

What motivates you? My morning motivation to get out of bed is my hungry son and my full bladder. What gets me through the work day is the thought of going home, taking off my bra, and relaxing with my child and husband. My motivation lies solely on the life of my baby.
What do you enjoy most about writing? It is freeing. I want to help others and that option isn’t really in my dad-to-day life at work. If I can help someone by telling my story in writing, then it’s a good day.
The 3 H’s. Hair loss, hormones, and hell. Postpartum hair loss is no joke; I was thinking it was going to be bad for maybe a week or so… WRONG! I’m currently 8 months postpartum and this shit is still falling out in clumps! Not to mention the baby hairs that started to come in,
